Celia is originally from the rural community of Nandayosis 2, in the Municipality of Villa El Carmen, department of Managua, Nicaragua. Degree in Sociology since 2012 at the Central American University, UCA. She has participated in different training processes in political advocacy, management of Human Resources, courses in gender, feminisms, citizen participation, sexual and reproductive health with a human rights approach. Promoter of different actions in the promotion and defense of the Rights of girls and women in different rural communities. Since 2013, she joined FUNDECOM as a volunteer and as a defender and activist committed to the Rights of Women, Girls and Adolescents, was elected to the FUNDECOM General Assembly as President of the organization for the 2016-2018 period.
