Katherine Alejandra Samayoa González

Katty is from San Marcos (San Salvador). She studied Sociocultural Anthropology at the University of El Salvador with a focus on gender and sexuality, social management and Salvadoran sign language (LESSA).

Katty has collaborated in Jóvenes Voceras y Voceros en Derechos Sexuales y Derechos Reproductivos, in the communication committee, especially in the radio program Jóvenes Voceras y Voceros en Resistencia, since 2015. And works on political advocacy, promotion and defense of sexual rights and reproductive rights and the systematization of workshops.

One of her work highlights is her coordination of the literacy project for deaf people; and her work in research consultancies (includes the application of interviews, systematization, and coordination of focus groups).
